Course Layout

EFA has 14 permanent target butts, with distances varying from 60 metres to 5 metres, which allows us to layout all of the three rounds accepted by Archery Australia, and these rounds are familar to all field archers.

These targets are set out following the course of a small creek, giving a variety of shooting positions from almost flat to uphill and downhill. The map gives a general layout of the course.

We have a flat practice area with maxium distance of 55 metres, and 4 permanent butts, all of which are large enough for all of the F.I.T.A. faces including the 1220 mm face.

It is here we conduct our coaching courses, and members do things like check equipment and sight settings, and for those who wish to, shoot standard target rounds.
